The PCP (Philippine College of Physicians-the organization of Internists) and the PPS (Philippine Pediatric Society) in coordination with 911 of the Davao City Government thru Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio started today the telemedicine consultations and queries for COVID 19 and common ailments (Non COVID cases).
This is to help the public in addressing their medical issues at a time Davao is on a community quarantine. Hopefully, we will be able to decongest SPMC and the other private hospitals from non-emergency consultations at the ER.
Finally, this will keep the members of the PCP and PPS preoccupied while waiting and preparing for the possible surge of COVID cases.
